During the casting process, many companies deal with suspended particles that affect fluidity due to the amount of oxides generated in the lead. Contamination by oxide microparticles compromises the quality of metal alloys, leads to material loss, and interrupts the production process to unclog pipes, heads, and flutes. Nanoclean eliminates these microparticles, making the lead cleaner, more fluid, and more stable for alloy formation. This increases equipment lifespan by up to 50%.
Description:
This is a bar flux used to remove oxide particles from pure lead and lead-based alloys. Dry, powdery slag with a low metallic content was obtained after cleaning with this flux. It improves the mechanical properties of pure lead and lead-based alloys. The flux does not react with the crucible lining.
Application:
For Pb-Sb alloys. - Add one bar for every 5 tons after the alloy is ready. Due to its flame-raising properties during application, the bar should be broken and added gradually to the bath vortex; - Temperature 580°C to 590°C; - Stir for 30 to 40 minutes and remove the supernatant; - Ready!! (INGOTATE). For Pb-Ca alloys. - One bar for every 5 tons before adding the alloying elements. Due to its flame -raising properties during application, the bar should be broken and added gradually to the bath vortex; - Stir for 30 to 40 minutes and remove the supernatant; - Add the alloying elements; - Ready!!
Dosage:
Average dosage of 0.005% (by mass) or 0.25% (one bar) flux per 5,000 kg of lead-based alloy.
Appearance:
Greenish rectangular bar. Odorless.
Packaging:
Box containing 60 bars (15 kg of material).
Storage:
Up to 24 months in a dry, room-temperature location.
